Welcome!

__________

Born and raised in Minneapolis, Daisy is an up-and-coming indie-folk singer/songwriter breaking into the Twin Cities music scene. Daisy has been developing her unique sound for the past three years in various venues throughout the metro area and is beloved as a regularly featured artist at Butter Cafe, Carbone's Pizza, Fig+Farro, Kingfield Porchfest, Nicollet Open Streets, KFAI radio, and as a professionally recorded musician at IPR.

Music has been a central focus throughout Daisy's life, beginning with a diverse music education from her parent's iPod and vinyl collections. She started playing cello at the age of four and is self-taught on a variety of instruments, composing and performing acoustically on guitar, ukulele, bass, and piano.

In her music, she strives to speak to the authentic rawness of growing up. Her original songs document the gritty experience of being a teenager today, an experience that is often concealed by our culture's obsession with an overly polished and romanticized fictional youth. She has used her music to become a voice in a generation of activists and was featured at a March for Our Lives rally with her song Us Kids.
